In my 20s, I could do whatever I wanted, life was limitless. In my 30s, I am matured, found peak performance and kept growing in my 40s now, I am injured, distracted and unsure if I will meet my goals with climbing and life.I just discovered this podcast and am thrilled to hear of these conversations of athletes peaking way past what is considered prime. The host knows his subject matter. is well prepared with engaging questions, and mixes in light moments with serious insights. There are all these incredible adventure athletes out there, quietly pushing the age barrier. Kush, thank you for shining the light on them!
Worth listening to…
Kush! The conversations and interviews of the athletes are inspirational and fun! I like the ideas, preparations and open mindedness of these ageless athletes focus on life and happiness- looking forward to new episodes! I’m in the age where ligaments and joints start to break down…and listening to these conversations made me think on how to be in your best performance while aging… It gave me some chuckle and giggle on the storytelling and interviews. The best part of the conversation is the unique engagement between the host and the athletes- ideas about nutrition and training gave me opportunity to think about how to strengthen my weaknesses….highly recommended!
Inspiring conversations
A great podcast for any one who wants to learn how to continue to be active and move throughout life. The diversity of guests provides varied ideas and concepts for how to stave off the ever present weight of aging and inspire us to continue reaching for our own goals as we try to stay ageless.
Keep more episodes coming..
I am approaching 40 myself and love staying active. This podcast really resonates with me. It addresses various struggles I experience, such as finding time to heal, maintaining endurance, managing energy, and maintaining a good diet. In particular, the episode with Tyler Farnham struck a chord with me. He discussed leaving behind friends to break bad habits and staying focused on journaling, as well as using sea water for therapy. These are strategies I also rely on, and hearing them from such a brilliant athlete motivates and inspires me. I'm incredibly grateful for this podcast for providing a community for aging, active individuals like myself. Request: Would love to hear more from female athletes who were not active in their teens.
Squeezing the last drops of juice out of the lemon
After my 30th birthday, I noticed my joints were a bit less flexible, my muscles tired more easily, and excess weight would stay on a bit longer if I didn't prioritize diet and exercise. As this is the situation, I want to take every step possible to ensure that I am still able to perform my favorite activities at a high level. This podcast features expertly curated interviews with inspiring athletes who have maintained a high level of fitness for many years. These guests share exciting stories about their athletic careers as well as secrets to their success. This podcast inspires me to be the best that I can be- to train daily to squeeze every drop out of the lemon and maintain a high level of physical fitness for years to come.Great job Kush!!
Inspired to be an ageless athlete
