Before You Take Another Supplement After 40, Watch This

Which supplements are worth taking after 40—and which are worth questioning? At 48, I’ve spent thousands on supplements. Here’s what I still take, what I stopped, and where I’m experimenting.

After more than 150 conversations with athletes, researchers, physicians, and nutrition professionals on Ageless Athlete, I’ve become more interested in supplements—and more skeptical of the promises.

In this episode:
• Creatine and protein powder: supporting strength as we age
• Vitamin D and magnesium: having a reason to supplement
• Urolithin A / Mitopure: promising research and realistic expectations
• Collagen, glucosamine, and chondroitin: what I tried for my joints
• BPC-157 and TB-500: my personal experiment and the uncertainty
• Five questions to ask before buying another supplement

The goal is to stay strong and capable enough to keep doing what you love. For me, that means climbing, mountain biking, and living an active life.
